I made this card for the fun rainbow challenge at: Retro Rubber Challenge Blog We are to use rainbows or rainbow colors and as you can see in my card I chose the colors. I embossed the tulips and then colored them individually instead of sponging over the tops. I used the sentiment from Everyday expressions a 1997 stampin up set. I then tied a little ribbon off to the side of my banner. I also dabbed quite heavily my clear wink of stella glitter pen on each tulip. I posted both pictures so you could hopefully see the sparkle. I die cut a little grass so to make it look a bit more finished.
Below you will find a handful of pictures from my side yard. I'm not so much of a gardener anymore, but I still try a wee bit. Just thought it would be fun to share some pictures since my card had flowers on it. Plus the yard is the one nice thing I like about our house/where we live. It's like a secret. Honestly when people pull off the 4 lanes in front of our home they can't believe our yard. It is big for being in town and also that it's pretty nice for being next to a junk yard and train yard. We have it fenced off too, which is nice. Someday I'll have hubby take a picture of out front, that's hard for me because it's on a hill, and my balance is no good. Any ways, I guess I just wanted to share the blessing with you all. The noise from the traffic/trains is a completely different story.. So I choose to stay positive, and focus on the yard.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping.

I think the tulips are a great way to showcase the rainbow colours of our challenge. The way you've embossed, then coloured has added definition to the flowers. The addition of the cut grass is indeed a perfect way to finish off your garden scene. Thank you for joining us again at Retro Rubber.
