I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. It went by way to fast. Hubby and I went to watch the fireworks last night. I'll never get use to this town. They always have the fireworks before the 4th of July, not to mention Halloween is not celebrated on the day either until last year. I don't know what is up with this city. .haha
Any ways It was a lovely weekend because my husband had the majority of it off. I've been a bit anxious lately so it's good to have him here. We (mostly Him) did some yard work but I did get to sit in my chair and enjoy some outdoor time.
So onto my card now. I was quite intrigued by this challenge at: Sunday Stamps Tall and Skinny sketch.
I did a horizontal take on the sketch and instead of ribbon or twine I "tied" the sentiment in with the paper strip border. I also tried to take a few pictures of the card, because I couldn't really capture the little pond glitter very well, it's dazzling with sparkles. Oh and the little sequins are place very strategically over little blue accidentally splash marks. *sigh It never fails for me to leave my "special" little homemade touches on the cards I make.
The stamp set is from Stampin Up Swan Lake.
Thank you so much to my new followers for making that big choice to follow me. Gosh that's so sweet. 💓
I am so exiting to be one more closer to reaching my goal of 100 followers so I can have a drawing for a stamp set give away. YAY
Have a Great Day. I will try to get to a few of your blogs today.
Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping
