I really wanted to play along with: TGIF Challenges
Which means I had to go search youtube to find out how to emboss resist. Well here we have it~ my butterfly card. I made this for my friend's daughter who has been so sick since coming home from summer camp. Please keep her in your prayers. I thought this card was fitting because they just released the butterflies they had since the chrysalis stage. How super fun.
On my card I used the papillon potpourri and cottage greetings from stampin up. I embellished it with ribbon and little pearls on the butterfly. I have to say it took a few takes to get the hang of the sponging. There are still a few spots on this one where my hands were a bit heavy with the ink, but nevertheless pleased with how it turned out.
