FUSION - Nature Thoughtful Blooms, Stampin Up

I made this spring time card for the challenge at:

I chose to use only the sketch part of the challenge.

The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  Thoughtful Blooms

The thank you sentiment was purchased at Michael's

I do not have the punch for these flowers yet, so I just cut them out.  I really love how they look cascading down.

#TGIFC254 Love is Kindness, Enjoy Life, Stampin Up Thank you

I have a new stamp 😊
Actually it is an older stamp but new to me.  I found it on Etsy.   Can you believe that?   I'm trying to sell my stamps and cards, and then I turn around and buy myself a stamp.  Oh boy, I'm not breaking even here.  haha

Any ways I couldn't wait to play with it.  The stamp is from:
Stampin Up:   Love is Kindness
I also used:
Stampin Up:  Enjoy Life

I think it's just delightful.  It is one nice sized stamp that has a lovely sentiment:  "the essence of love is kindness"  However, I chose not to use that sentiment, and instead opted to turn this card into a thank you note.   So after stamping and coloring I cut the flowers out.

I took another picture with more light so you could compare the two images.

I included a picture of my buddy HP.  He's just chilling out on the couch.

Sketch #359~Under My Umbrella, Stampin Up, Penny Black, April Showers

I can't believe I missed a challenge last week. YIKES.   I just got wrapped up in trying to make things and organize stuff for my Etsy shop.  I even made gift certificates for my customers in hopes they will come back and shop again.   It is my way of saying thank you to them.  In fact this past weekend I had 3 sales.  WHOOHOO.. That was amazing to me.  Of course my dear husband says I'm losing out because of the shipping costs.  But perhaps it will even out in the end I always hope.

Well today I had made this card fro the challenge at:

The stamp sets featured in this card are:

Stampin Up:  Under My Umbrella
Penny Black:  April Showers

The DSP is a bit much for me, it actually reminds me of a circus or something, but nevetheless I tried to tame it down with the umbrellas.  I added a few little rhinestones to act like rain droplets.

I've also included a picture of the gift certificates.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

HSSIC334~Lovely Lily Pad, Thanks for the Laughs, Stampin Up

I made this card for the challenge at:

The stamp sets featured in this card are:

Stampin Up:  Lovely Lily Pad
Stampin Up:  Thanks for the Laughs

I absolutely love this DSP, it really does remind me of Claude Monet's water lily pond.  So I wanted to make sure to keep as much DSP visible as possible.  So I chose to do my stamping on just the upper part of the card.  I really like how it turned out.
The sentiments are absolutely fantastic in the "thanks for the laughs" set.   I bought  this set with my kids in mind.  We truly are blessed to have a great relationship. They make me smile.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

#GDP227~ Make a Splash, Best Birds, Memories in the Making, Cozy Critters, Stampin Up

I made a card for the lady that helped us out this week.  I noticed in her office she had a lovely picture of a bird, so I thought I'd make her a card reflecting that picture.

The stamp sets featured in this card are:

Stampin Up:  Make a Splash
Stampin Up: Best Birds
Stampin Up:  Memories in the Making (Project Life)
Stampin Up:  Cozy Critters

After stamping the images and coloring them, I cut them out and searched for the perfect placement.  I was thankful that the sentiment I chose was able to bend a bit to go underneath the branch perfectly.

I will submit this card to the challenge at:

CAS Game #160 ~Be Mine, Lawn Fawn, Bumblebee Happiness

I like the simplicity of a showy white space card.   Sometimes it just makes a gal step back and say, WOWZA.   It takes out all the drama of pattern paper and directs your eye to a few simple images.  Clears the clutter and keeps it clean.   So that is why I will submit my  card to the challenge at:

The stamp set featured in this card is:
Lawn Fawn:  Bee Mine

After stamping and coloring the images, I used wink of stella to give the heart some shimmer and glossy accents to make the bumblebee pop up with some shine.  If you look closely on the flower you will note it has a little metallic center.   All my talk up there about pattern paper, and here this little flower is cut out of such paper.  I thought it matched the challenge perfectly.

Challenge #152~ Happy St. Patrick's Day. Shamrock

Today I received some distressing news by mail, and I thought I could just let it go, well apparently not.  As I was doing my Bible study praying for peace and help I turned the page of my Bible and ripped the edge right off, it was then I knew I needed to step away.  Well folks, God spoke to me through a verse today  Commit thy works unto the Lord.  Prov. 16:3  I did calm down and was able to continue on in studying.  I'm still frustrated with the news, but hopefully tomorrow will get things figured out.  One more thing  I was reading my Charles Spurgeon book and he was talking about doves.  I felt like it was way above my head, but I persevered and tried to understand, and then tonight in our side yard there was a pair of lovely morning doves.  Such a gift from God.   I will include a picture.
I was able to make a few cards today, feeling very inspired by my Bible study I chose to make Shamrock cards using my heart and circle punches.  The inside is a poem I found online.

I will submit this card to the challenge at:

The theme for the challenge is:
"Shades of Green"
