Sketch #377 Bold Blossom, New Wonders, Stampin Up, Thank you

I don't like asking people for things, but I stepped out of my comfort
zone to do just that.   You see I have a sweet friend who sent Robb and I
face masks awhile ago.  In fact I might have posted a picture of them.  They
have been a blessing because I had no idea that masks would become
mandatory in certain areas.  My friend the thinker was way ahead
of the game.  So I asked if she would be
able to have her mom make us a few more so I can give one
to my dad and the kids.  She said of course.  I'm very grateful for her and
her mom.  So I made this card and put it in the mail today with a few bucks 😉
My butterfly card I sent to her mom as a thank you
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Bold Blossom
Stampin Up:  New Wonders
I will submit this card to the challenge at:
I have happy news to report again.  I was flabbergasted (fun word) to see
I had another sale in my Etsy shop.  That was unbelievable.  Today it wasn't cards
rather a stamp set and punch that I had just added to the shop.
OOH and I'm not sure if I mentioned but I have a real customer for my stampin
up website.  I'm so excited.  I've not ever had that. It gives me hope that
maybe I can sell stampin up products.  This lovely woman found my cards
on Instagram and said she liked them and boom we were fast friends, and
now she orders stamping up products from my page.
Oh gosh I'm rattling on again.  Sorry.

Real quick an update on my health, it's been a struggle.
But I'm going keep pressing on. Can't give up.  I have stamping to do. 😉
I've had lots of wonderful advice from
food elimination diets, to probiotics, to supplements.  So I'm just overwhelmed at
this point but nonetheless grateful for the advice.

Ok.. I do believe this post turned into a short story. OH no that made
me think of books.  Ya all know I love to read, well I must say
this latest novel is one difficult book to get going with.  Finally
around page 70 it started to get a bit interesting.  So there is hope
for me here you see.  Long winded but perhaps something interesting in the end.  haha.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

PP499 - A Color Challenge from LeAnne ~Dragon Fly Dreams, Stampin Up, HOPE

I haven't made a scripture card in quite sometime.
So I was inspired by the challenge at:
The soft colors just seemed to speak to me.
Like the song Softly and Tenderly Jesus is calling.
The verse I chose for this card is one of HOPE.
I used a dragonfly for the image because I think they are beautiful
There is a hint of yellow in the wings, I tried to get as close as possible
to the colors in the challenge.  The only exact ink I had was the smokey slate.
I stamped the verse in that color.

The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  Dragon Fly Dreams

SSC235 BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL~ Watercolor Wings, Beauty Abounds, Stampin Up, Butterfly Thank you

I made this bright butterfly card for the challenge at:
I chose to incorporate all 5 colors.  And it worked out perfect with this butterfly die.
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Watercolor Wings
Stampin Up: Beauty Abounds
The big question was do I add the pearls or don't I?   well as you can see after much deliberation it was a Yes. 😊
My husband brought this beauty in for me to see.   The details are so amazing it reminds me of stained glass artwork.
I want to share some happy news, because it seems like lately all I do is talk about my diagnosis.  So today's happy news.  I received a stampin up order on my webpage and I also had a sale in my Etsy shop. Both are such a BIG blessing to me.    Thank you to two of my sweet customer friends.  You know who you are.  💗

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

SSC234 GOING IN CIRCLES ~ Zoo Globe, Stampin Up, Happy Birthday

I made this card today using one of my new favorite stamp sets:
Stampin Up:  Zoo Globe
I will submit it to the challenge at:
I planned on making a floral Birthday card for a friend, but this will have to do.  Even though it seems sort of childish, I LOVE it.  Perhaps it keeps us young at heart to receive such a card.   It was just basic stamping, coloring and cutting,  for this card.  I was running short on time.  I came across the sketch and starting playing before I even checked to see when it ends.
For those of you who have been following the drama with my health.  I'm hanging in there and still trying to stamp, today was the best day yet with not many tingles in the hands and feet.  It kept me up most of the night.  Been up since 2 a.m.  but Praise the LORD it isn't so bad this afternoon.   The doctor said he'd call this week, nothing yet.  Perhaps he is waiting until after 5 this evening.  😉  Thank you to all who have kept me in their prayers.  And if you have any suggestions on how to deal with Lupus please let me know.  Life has a way of throwing curve balls.   The one funny thing about it all, is I've been telling doctors since back surgery I feel like my body is attacking me, and hates me, and come to find out apparently that is what Lupus does.  Sigh.   Any ways enough of that depressing drama.  I can still stamp so Praise the LORD for that.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

TMS #562 Painted Poppies, Part Of My Story, Stampin Up

I knew I was going to have to make one more card for the challenge at:
One that is a bit more seasonal for this time of the year.  So I pulled out the poppies.
The stamp sets used for this card are:
Stampin up:  Painted Poppies
Stampin Up:  Part of My Story

I stamped each poppy and then fussy cut them out and placed their leaf higher on the stem so they could be seen.    I added tons of clear wink of stella to the poppies, so hence the second picture.

TMS #562 Whoosh Snowman, Let It Snow, Merry Christmas, Skiing snowman

I had so much fun with this sketch at:

I thought for sure the trees were going to be fabulous, and then I realized after stamping them, I could barely see them, behind the rectangle.  So I chose to use vellum paper and frame it so at least we could see the four trees which represent the four strips in the sketch.

I really enjoying making Christmas cards, and I never seem to have enough ready when I need them.  So I was grateful to pull out these two old sets to make this card.
Stampin Up:  Whoosh Snowman
Stampin Up:  Let it Snow

Sketch #376 ~ Zoo Globe, Candy Cane Season, Stampin Up

Thank you to all the lovely people who have commented and sent good wishes and prayers for me.  Gosh that is super sweet.  I truly appreciate it.  Sometimes a gal feels alone in this battle concerning ones health.  I'm glad to have blog friends who understand.  💗 I'm still dealing with the tingles, but I'm going to focus on what I can still try and do, and remind myself God is in control.
I made this card for the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Candy Cane Season
Stampin Up:  Zoo Globe

I was so excited to order this set because I use to collect snow globes.  I just love them.  I had quite a collection and the same with Christmas cards we had received over the years. Then one year I thought I should get rid of a great majority.  I REGRET that.  I took a few pictures of the only globes I have left. The little Santa one is my  oldest.  I received it when I was a child.

As I was making this card I was curious to what the birds think of the koalas up in the trees.   I wonder if they all get along, and just fly by and say to themselves, that tree is occupied, I shall find another.   Then I thought what if a bird has a nest up in the tree, does the koala bother it?  Oh I suppose I could look things up on google, and rabbit trail myself into a whole web of studying to which nothing will get done as far as chores are concerned, but at least I will know about the birds and koala bears  haha.
