Congratulation's Card #2

Hello again, I just had to give this sketch and special
 step card  one more try.
So I made one more congratulation's card for my son.
I think I like this one better.   I know he likes this
DSP, because I made a project for him once using it.
He still has it on his desk to hold all his pens, and glues.
I think it is so sweet my kids like the stuff I make for them.
Blesses my heart.
Also this card is special because of the frog.  You
see when he was a little boy, an older gentlemen
came up to him in church and gave him a little rubber
frog, and asked him if he knew what that meant?  He
then went to tell my son frog means to:
Fully~Rely~On~God
I will submit this card to the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Lovely lily pad, So hoppy together,
Conversation bubbles, In the trees
The little froggy is so "hoppy" sitting on his
lily pad, and the cute little dragon flies fluttering
by with a grand congratulation's.  I'm so proud
of my son for this new chapter he is embarking upon.
Glory to GOD for leading him, protecting him
and making a way for him.
That is a picture of how I first started out with
this card.  The foundation.  Haha
This little guy is so sleepy lately, but glad he
is still with us.   He will be excited to see
the kids the weekend for Easter.

Matt. 5:16KJV
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your
good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Congratulation's card #1

I find it to be quite a joke when I have a lovely vision
in my head of what the card will look like, and then
it just turns out not at all like I had hoped.
This is exactly what happened with this card.  UGH.
I wanted to make it extra special for my son.
and then it just got so busy, and come to find out
I can't even in fit it into a standard A2 envelope
because of the tree over hang.
I had fun making this card, even thought measuring
is not my special gift.  Oh gosh it truly is not, But
it wasn't to shabby doing these special cuts.
I will submit this card to the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  In the trees, Above the clouds
I let DSP give me a helping hand here.  The
background sky, and the big hot air balloon.
There was a ton of fussy cutting with this card.
Did you notice the squirrels in the trees holding
up the banner?  I even added a few flowers in
the little grassy die cut strip on the bottom.

Eph. 3:20KJV
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above
all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

Easter Card #4 for the 2023 Season

I sort of let my imagination run wild(again)
with this card.  Why not have an assortment
of colorful carrots?
I think the bunny in the basket is quite pleased with
it, and also with the cute little eggs too.
I tried not to stretch the sketch,  too far.
I even used an egg stamp to resemble  the
empty tomb.
I will submit this card to the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Thanks a bunch, layering circle dies,
Timeliess tulips, basket bunch, 2 stamp Easter egg.
There really is a circle behind the Easter basket
and sentiment, I just sort of packed it full of
stamping goodness.  I placed the bow off center
to fit on the basket handle, and not get in the
way of the bunny.
This little guy has another ear infection, so
he is on meds, and got a new toy for being such a
trooper.  We think he gets very stressed when I'm not
around.  I have had many doctors appointments lately
and so he gets anxious, tomorrow is one more.
Actually a very big one, hoping and praying for a miracle
that the echocardiogram will come back better then
the EKG's   Things haven't been going so well in the
health department here.  But God willing I'm still alive
and thankful for that.

Job 19:25KJV
For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall
stand at the latter day upon the earth;

This is one of my favorite songs
that reminds me of the verse above.

Easter Card #3 for the 2023 Season

I'm so glad I got the opportunity to make a card
today.  I  really needed to have a little escape in the
craft room, to try and calm my mind and heart.
This week will be another running race of
doctor appointments and traveling.
Praying everything goes well and safe.
Today I decided to make my third Easter card for the season.
This little bird outside my craft room window inspired this card.
I will submit it to the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Irresistible blooms, garden birdhouses,
His love, wildflower path, and He is Risen block
This was very relaxing to make.  I turned the little
birdie house into a chapel for the birds.  I imagine
them coming to sing their praises.   A bit of fussy
cutting but it was worth it.
A pair of lovely morning doves were enjoying
their time sitting on the deck until my sweet
little fella caused such a ruckus that they flew off.

You'd never be able to tell by this adorable
picture of him sleeping so sweetly.
Psalm 106:1KJV
Praise ye the LORD.  O give thanks unto the LORD;
for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Easter Card #2 for the 2023 Season

Happy St. Patrick's Day

I didn't even wear anything green today, but
I did include a few greens on my plate for supper.  wink.
I had such a terrible experience yesterday, that
my eyes are still a swollen mess today.  But
I'm thankful I was able to make a card.
I made this card for the challenge at:
The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  Timeless Tulips
I used up some scrap DSP, all in the pastel colors,
to go with my Easter theme.  I struggled cutting
out the tulip and bits, then in the end I finally
realized why not just stamp the stem and leaves
directly on the card, and use dimensionals for the flower.
So that is exactly what I did.  I also raised up the sentiment.
Gives it that little extra something special.

Here below is a picture of my little darling taking a nap.
In his upside down bed.  He constantly flips it over,
and surrounded by a few toys he is happy.  Notice the
green pickle for the festive picture for St. Patty's Day.
Song of Solomon 2:12 KJV
The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing
of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in
our land;

Ship Card

We have heat my friends.  After 5 days and
no furnace things were a tad frosty here in WI.
I'm very happy to report we had a new furnace
put in today.  Praise the LORD.  I'm hoping
it lasts a good long time.
I made this card for the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  On the Ocean, and Layering
Circle Dies
I used a little DSP to help with the background.
Gave it a sort of stormy look.
I stamped the ship in two colors, and then
fussy cut out the bits to line them up so the
base was wood looking and I used a marker
to highlight the mast a brown color as well.
I rather enjoy how it turned out.
Here's a picture of my little darling resting his
chops on his blanket that's on my bed.  Notice
the window sill in the background holds one of
his toys, he puts them everywhere the little sweetheart.

John 21:6KJV
And he said unto them, Cast the net on
the right side of the ship, and ye shall find.
They cast therefore, and now they were not able
to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

Cactus Card

I made this card for the challenge at:
Stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Irresistible Blooms
MFT:  Let's Stick Together
I had so much fun stamping and coloring
these cute little fellas.  The faces on the cactus
give them such personality.
All the different shades of green I almost
turned this into a St. Patrick's day card.
The trick was trying to figure out how to
layer them without using dimensionals.
There was quite a bit of fussy cutting involved,
but it all went pretty smoothly for a change.
I like the speckled background, just fills it in nicely.
Here's little HP all snuggled up.

A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly:
and there is a friend that sticketh closer
than a brother.
