Well I had a very exhausting day. My daughter needed a ride to work by 8:30. I had the chicken in the oven by 9:30 and the potatoes done by 10. So that way my eleven o'clock Dr. appointment would not mess up hubby's lunch break at noon. I'm beat. But not ever too tired to try and stamp. This card is one of those where I worked so hard on it and I'm not very pleased with the outcome. The vision in my head was much more better then the finished product you see. Nevertheless I will submit it to the challenge at: Tuesday Morning Sketches
I used a brick embossing folder for the background and then sponged it lightly with gray ink. Then I used some of my spider web washi tape and stuck it on white paper first to make sure the white backing was nice and crisp, I then cut it out for the strip behind the tag.
Now for the tag I did a lot of fussy cutting and stamping trying to make a haunted house of sorts by using stampin up's holiday home.
Gosh I wish it would have turned out like the "image in my mind" Any ways I sure do appreciate you stopping by. Thank you.
Perhaps I will have to try again with this lovely sketch and do a Christmas tag.. I love making Christmas cards.
If you have a moment take a look around my blog at my other cards, projects, and pictures. I'd love to have you join my blog family by becoming a follower. That would be awesome.
Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping
Boy, it sounds like you are way too busy. Hope your Dr.'s appt. turned out well. I think your card turned out great even though it wasn't what you had in mind. I like the purple and green together and th spider web tape is really cute! I was at Michael's today and got some halloween washi tape. I love seing all the halloween stuff out!
