I'm going to begin by sharing the two challenges I will be submitting this card to. That way when I explain the card it might be a bit easier to understand my madness behind the scenes. 😉
I chose the middle row down: Watercoloring, patterned paper, congrats.
Challenge: Create a project inspired by a song title.
So onto the explaining. First up let me say the song I chose is of course from the Wizard of Oz.. Somewhere over the Rainbow. ahhh.. do you see it now..where I was going I mean with this card? So after choosing a song, which by the way I was going to go Christmas, because I love making Christmas cards, but decided for this song instead because well it is summer.
SO onto the card, I pulled out my markers to make a rainbow watercolored background so my happy little bluebird can fly over the rainbow♪ I then needed to find some patterned paper that would hold up to my bold coloring job. Aha.. I found some. YAY!! I stamped the inside.. with clouds and a lovely sentiment that fits the congrats on the front.
The stamps featured in today's card are:
Studio G~ 2013 That is the little birdie, that I stamped colored, fussy cut out and pop dotted up for some dimension.
Lawn Fawn~Blue Skies, that one is a more recent set, I just used it for the sentiment and clouds on the inside.
Stampin Up~ 2007 Congrats for the Congratulations
What a fun cheery card. I hope you like it too.

Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping.
