Aww... The perfect summer day relaxing in the back yard, and quite honestly that's our summer vacations. We have to watch the budget so we opt for the "staycation" at home.
I will be submitting my card to the following challenges:
The House that Stamps Built where the challenge is "SUMMER VACATION"
Hopefully you will be able to see the colors from the above challenge in my card. The flowers have the melon mambo, the garden green is represented in the trees and grass, and the pumpkin pie is the hammock. I did have to add a few light blue clouds for the perfect summer day. The stamp set featured in today's card is:
Stampin Up~ In The Trees
I'm also including a picture of this darling little bunny. He got a little frisky later and was hopping all over the yard. HP finds him quite fun to watch. You'll have to check out my last post to see a cute picture of HP.
Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit.
Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping.
I'd love to have you sign up and follow my blog.
Oh~I love this image and I wish I could have one in my yard, Patty! Thanks for playing along with us at CAS Colours & Sketches this week. Please come back with us again.
ReplyDeleteI like these summer colors for this challenge. Your hammock looks so inviting! Our bunnies are running and jumping all over the yeard as well! I'm sure they are glad it is summer as well!
ReplyDeleteGreat scene, thanks for playing along with us at CC&S.
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with "staycations" - they're my favorite kind! Love the sweet (relaxing) scene you've created! So happy you played along with the Summer Vacation theme over at The House That Stamps Built!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful summery scene and I could just lay there on that hammock all day! Wonderful use of the challenge colours & thanks for joining in on the fun at CC&S this week. Hugs Bev x
ReplyDeleteFabulous scene!! Lying there in the hammock with a good book (and not having anything that needs to be done) would be a perfect summer vacation for me!! Thanks for playing with the House That Stamps Built.
