I was dreaming about this card, seriously. Because after I saw the wonderful sketch at:
I knew for sure I'd want to play along. However, as you can see by my card, I was unable to follow the sketch exactly. Which is something I really like to do, but this time I was determined to use this lovely background paper that I purchased from Michael's, and in order to see the cute little critters I had to lower the banner and flip the ovals. I even put the bow on the opposite side. Now this card was a labor of love.. just for the sake of that paper. OMGOSH... after stamping out the animals in the oval and fussy cutting, next came the layering them all on perfectly 😉 Then as I mentioned, being that I lowered the banner the top seemed empty to me. (I tend to not ever have the less is more kind of cards) so I added the small banner. I like how the gold in the twine picks up the gold in the leaves. I think this would make a lovely sketch to use for my Grandma's 95th birthday coming up.
I'm also adding a couple pictures of this HUGE moth by our backdoor this afternoon. I thought it was eating a centipede or something but later come to find out that's just how they look ↓
I am so not brave enough to let this enormous moth land on my hands. I didn't think it had enough get up and go to fly, but later in the day I witnessed it flying in the yard.. Kind of reminded me of a bumble bee just a bit clumsy looking. However I enjoy bumble bees. Not a fan of this enormous scary looking creature. Have you ever seen a Polyphemus moth?

Hah, love your revival of forest friends - I loved this set so much! What a perfect paper you found for it! And yes, I used to get these moths and lunas at my old Virginia cabin - cool and a little intimidating, lol. Thanks so much for playing at Sunday Stamps!
