Today I made a card for the challenge at:
As usual this card is not the direction I had intended to go. I had a lovely little bonsai tree stamp that I thought would work lovely. Well folks, it was to small and after numerous times to get it to work I just gave up and went with one of my favorites from stampin up called Garden in Bloom. A bit of fussy cutting was involved but now that I have my cheater glasses it's not to shabby.
I'm also adding a picture of my sweet little HP. He was playing outside yesterday and even got brave enough to run through the sprinklers. So cute.
I'm also sharing a few hand bags I made yesterday. I was inspired by the little purse one my dear friend Nancy made. You should check her awesome paper handbag out on her blog at: Nanny's Pansy Patch. She makes the most amazing cards, and projects.
Well after making the cute little purse for Grandma's 95th birthday tomorrow. I realized I went a wee bit overboard on the flowers so in order to open mine, it's a bit tough to sneak through the handles. So I came across another bag to make and this one is just perfect for her to be able to reach into. I think she would love the polka dot purse, perhaps .. I'll take both and fill the little one with candy just so she can have it, to put on her shelf.. Which one do you like better? The bigger box I found on youtube: Jackie Bolhuis it's super easy to make. I ended up using 3 pieces of 12x12 because my paper was not double sided and I wanted that cute decorative edge on the top.
I also added the pictures with the card I made for Grandma. I'm so excited to give it to her. I made some homemade chicken noodle soup that I will be putting in a mason jar for her. I think it will fit nicely in the brown bag.
Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit.
Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping
