Well, here we have a card I made for the challenge at:
Once again, so many ideas, but nothing was going as planned. So start fresh, and that folks is what this card is.
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up: High Tide
Stampin Up: Above the Clouds
Stamping Up: Lighthouse
Great Impressions G305
I did a bit of coloring and then sponged on some clouds to help fill in the white space and make it look more ideal for the flying seagulls by the lighthouse. I like the depth of color in the water. Also, I used some lovely "rope" to go with the whole theme of my card. I even had to look up on youtube how to tie a sailors knot so I could add that to my banner. This was a super easy video to follow. I think it turned out fabulous.
Next I'll share a few of the little projects I've been working on, so I can add it to my etsy shop I'm having a sale until the end of October. I was told I should raise my prices and not have any shipping and handling. Well ironically I did just that and I haven't had a sale since then. I'm hoping my 10% off sale this month will help. I need to clear out some of my items.
And lastly I finally cleaned up my work station so I could share some pictures of my craft room. I will have to update that in my bar at the top. I no longer am crafting on the porch. The porch is my Bible study room and Husband's work station.
So my daughter's old room is now my craft room. It is 8½ x 9½ and here are a few pictures. I just left her lovely book border in here. I did make a video too, but it was 5 agonizing minutes of my terrible voice, so I probably won't share that, even though HP was adorable in it.
I Love checking out peoples craft rooms. So I thought I'd share mine.
Also I just wanted to mention, I have been blessed with many stamps, but here's the truth, I've been stamping for probably close to 25 years, I don't like to admit that much because My stamping is not what I would consider "amazing" it's just a hobby, but I brought it up because in that time span a person does get quite a collection of stamps. 😉
Thank you for stopping by for a visit.
Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping
