PP555~Bunches of Fun, Stampin Up

Aww.  The cone.  I just had to get this set
because of that.  I honestly think they
are quite ridiculous.  Our dog had to have one
for the first time in his ten years.  I blame
the incompetent vet for suggesting it.

You see we have a hyper English Springer Spaniel.
He did not take kindly to this cone.  He bucked,
he scratched, he went crazy trying to get it off.
He would hit the side of the cone on
the walls, the tables, etc.  Which only frustrated
him all the more.   Then a few dear friends
told us about the donut.  Game changer.
We highly recommend it compared to the
plastic cone.  However, had the vet
handled it correctly in the first place, HP would
not have needed this thing at all.  All the other
years with this allergy and never once until
this past spring did he need one.  sigh
Any ways, Praise the LORD we made it through
that ordeal, and can now laugh about it. (a little)
still makes me sad what the dogs have to go
through.  They don't understand.  It's like
they think we are punishing them for something.
I'm going to submit this card to the challenge at:
The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  Bunches of Fun.
It's a cute set.
I thought I'd end this post with that lovely finch resting
on a sunflower leaf outside my window.

  1. Ah, the dreaded cone! I remember my mom's dobermans having to get those cones. It does make for a very cute card, though! Clever and cute! And so is your pretty little goldfinch. My sunflowers were such a mess between the birds and the squirrels, I had to cut them down, so it is nice to see yours! Thanks for playing with the Players this week!

  2. Yes, the cone! My Buddy had to have one after ear surgery and he was not happy about it either! What a cute and clever card for certain. Thank you for joining us at the Paper Players this week.

  3. PJ... your card is precious beyond words. I started laughing the minute I saw it... so love it! I broke down and made a fabric cone for my dog since he seemed to be in it all the time. The plastic cone... dog lovers will so appreciate!
