Sketch #435~Dove of Hope, Country Livin' Stampin Up

Time to make a Christmas card.  That's what
I do when the world seems like it's gone crazy.
And speaking of World.  Wouldn't that
have been fabulous if I'd had a big
globe stamp?  So I could have used that
for the circle behind the dove.  Oh shucks.
I'm going to submit this card to the challenge at:
The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampin Up:  Dove of Hope
I love that snowflake DSP.  Oh gosh it's beautiful.
I thought I'd share a picture of Mr. HP.
I was doing my Bible study and there he is
laying at my feet all relaxed.  I think he is smiling
and has his eyes closed.  Living the good life.
Aww. my friends, here he is watching
and waiting for my husband to come down
the drive way.  Those silky, velvet ears,
are really as soft as they look.
I also wanted to share a picture of this
lovely Sunflower in my sunflower garden.
I made the following card for my dad,
he's just been so helpful to us lately and I wanted
him to know it has not gone unappreciated.

Thank  you for all the lovely comments and prayers.
You have the most magnificent design team.  All
so caring and leave the most lovely messages.  Thank
you so much.  Makes a gal feel special.

Now for a doctor update.  In short it was Horrible.
He was rude, even my husband was very unhappy and called
him a few choice names.  Right off the bat I knew we were
not going to be well suited.  Because he couldn't get pass
my weight.  (sigh)  Then came the lovely tests.  Which he
took none, just looked at the past 2 years of testing done by
previous doctors.  Summed it up as the other two did, and
then threw in the fact I need to see a breathing/pulmonary
specialist, and Spinal surgeon again.  After that remark,
I started tuning him out.  I for surely don't want to go
down that road again.  Then said go back to my family doctor
to watch my blood pressure.  He said there is nothing they
can do for the auto-immune diseases ( in which he is a specialist)
and then said, "see me again in 6 months"  I'm like what for?
So my friends, feeling more alone and isolated then ever.
Makes me wanna cry but that won't do no good for nothing.
So I will keep praying Jesus will heal me.
there ya have it.  Thanks again for all the love and support.

I didn't get those stamp sets in my Etsy shop yet.  hopefully this week.

  2. Such a gorgeous card.....it is so peaceful! Love your sunflowers, so pretty! On another note, sometimes you just have to keep searching until you find the right fit for a doctor. Sadly, it sometimes take a lot of time and money to get there. Good luck in your search! Thanks for playing with us at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!

  3. What a pretty card-I agree that crafting is a great way to get away from the stresses of the world. I am so sorry that things have been rough for you-I hope that there is a better doctor out there that actually listens and tries to help.
