TMS #556 Under My Umbrella, Over the Rainbow, Stampin Up, Over the Rainbow Card

I made this card for the challenge at:

The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Under My Umbrella
Stampin Up:  Over the Rainbow

I drifted a bit from the sketch and blurred the lines there with my rainbow, however I did stick to the original rainbow colors and finished off the colors on the inside of the card with the 3 hearts at the bottom.  I added glossy accents to the raindrops and clear wink of stella to the umbrella to make it appear wet.   I like how this card turned out.

Well, I'm giving the new blogger a try.  Change is not something that comes easy for me, so this is most assuredly a learning process for me.   I'm hoping I will warm up to this new way.

I'm also most excited to announce that yesterday I had two sales in my stampin up webpage.. OH my goodness, I'm so happy.  That was such a lovely surprise.    Thank you Jesus for such a blessing.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping 💗PJ

FUSION - Enough~ Enjoy LIfe, Flourish Dies, Stampin Up, Encouragement card

I made this card for the challenge at:

The stamp sets featured in this card are:

Stampin up:  Enjoy Life
Stampin Up:  Flourish Dies

I achieved the cool look on the side panel of the card, by scrunching up wax paper and tapping it on the ink pad.. what a fabulous way to make a quick and easy background, no two cards will ever be the same.  I love it.

I like the way the light plays off of the glossy paper.  I added three little embellishments to this card, and easy peasy it's finished.

PP492 Jar of Flowers, Cozy Cottage, At Home With You, Thinking of you Card

I was inspired to make this card because of the Bumblebees.   I was outside yesterday and notice one in the ground.  So I tried to capture a video of it.  I will add that to the end of this post.  Please excuse the background noise.. That is the train yard and traffic.  Oh and HP too, He wanted to let us know he saw the bee too.

The card I made today I will submit to the challenge at:

The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Jar of Flowers
Stampin Up:  Cozy Cottage
Stampin Up: At Home with You

I never add enough sequins to the shaker cards, so I had to make a small cut in the back and add a few more.  I added both the blue to reflect water and gold to blend in with the flowers.   Those cute little wooden bumblebees were purchased at Michael's years ago.  and finally I found a perfect card for them.
I really like the burlap ribbon around the rim of the jar.  It just seems to finish it off nicely.   The sentiment on the inside of the card is lovely.

I made this card for the challenge at:

The stamp sets featured in this card are:

I love how it turned out.  I used glossy accents to make the mason jar look like real glass.  and the flowers are so soft and go lovely with the background DSP.  I added the burlap ribbon around the top, and a few little embellishments along the side for some bling.

CTS #373~ Stampendous, Family Home.

I wills submit this card to the challenge at:

The stamp set featured in this card is:
Stampendous: Family Home

These crazy cute little homes all nestled together are lovely nestled on top of that embossed brick background.  I kept all the colors soft except for the one red door.  I love a nice red door.  It just seems so inviting to me.
The sentiment on the inside is lovely.

Sketch 369~ Happy Graduation Cards

I made this card for my niece who is graduating from high school this month.   Must be the year of graduations.  On my husband's side there are a couple also, however, we don't stay in touch with his side of the family due to conflicting views on many things.   Don't know why I felt at liberty to share that, but there it is.
On a happy note our daughter also graduated from College this past Sunday.  She worked extremely hard to stay on the Dean's list, and went through summer school to graduate early, and had to get an internship job during this Covid 19 lockdown.  It was mandatory for graduating.  The LORD answered our prayers and she was able to work from home at an office job for the University.    She did all of this while working her other job unloading semis, at which she had to report to work sometimes by 3am.   I'm so proud of her because they worked hard and she graduates with no school debt.   What a tremendous accomplishment.  I will share the card I made for her at the bottom of this post.
I will submit this card to the challenge at:

I really like how this card turned out.  I didn't take another picture because I forgot. OOPS.  Anyways, the inside of it says something like " the tassel was worth the hassle"  I told my  daughter it went for her and myself, as the tassel on this card gave me some trouble. 😉

Challenge #161 Snapshot, Crafting Forever, Music from the Heart, Painter's Palette, Stampin Up. Be Creative

I made this card for the challenge at:
With an optional twist:  One layer Card.

So I went for it with my card.  I chose to do the retiform technique, because it would make a lovely one layer card, and "the arts" mean so many different things to me that I wanted to include most of them on my card.😉

The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Snapshot
Stampin Up:  Crafting Forever
Stampin Up:  Music From the Heart
Stampin Up:  Painter's Palette

I like how it turned out.  many different images but one golden thread runs through it all.  "ART"   oooh thread.. I could have put on something with sewing too, I just didn't have a stamp for that.

Come to think of it this would look nice in one of the frames I'm now including in my Etsy shop.

TMS #554 Stampin Up: Timeless Tropical. Lawn Fawn: Dad and Me, Happy Father's Day

I'm most excited to say I have a new follower here on my blog.  Oh my goodness after such a long time I gave up on ever reaching 100, and then out of the blue, bless their dear heart  I have another.  I'm so grateful that she decided to follow my blog.  It makes me happy.

I made this card for my dad for Father's day.  I thought the sketch worked perfectly at:

The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up: Timeless Tropical
Lawn Fawn:  Dad and Me

The little shirt was all folds and no glue, how fabulous is that?  No scissors needed either.  Just a piece of 4x6 card stock.

I've been adding more items to my etsy shop some new framed stamped art.  I'm so proud of these.  Hopefully they will sell so I can try adding more.

Sketch #368 Best Birds, New Wonders,Stampin Up, Thank you

I made this card for my daughter who requested a thank you note for a friend.  I love making cards for the kids.  I feel it's such an honor when they ask me to do that.   So I am "thankful"  to play along with the sketch challenge at:

The stamp sets featured in this card today are:
Stampin Up:   Best Birds
Stampin Up:  New Wonders

I debated with myself about using the polka dot ribbon, or some burlap ribbon.  As you can see I choose the pink, and then decided to color the bird pink too.  I stamped a few bows, and each one was so big, so I finally just stuck with the flower,

I am so excited because I sold a few more items in my etsy shop.  And I actually might have a customer for my stampin up store.  That is marvelous.  I am just a hobby stamper, and not a sales lady, but I tell ya this is one happy gal to think it could help me with purchasing a few of my stamps.  What a blessing that would be.

I also wanted to share a link to my last card because I posted a couple pictures of my daughter's nails.  She is an amazing nail artist.   If that's something you enjoy you might want to check out her nails here  The nail polish names make me smile:  Strobe light, and watermelon felon.  She paints her real nails with precision design and creativity.  They are beautiful.

FUSION - Thank You~ Daisy Delight, Timeless Tulips, Stampin Up, Thank you

My daughter and son in law have lovely tulips in their yard.  This is one flower I've not ever had much luck with in our yard.   However, This spring they gave me one of theirs and I have it now planted.  In great hopes that it will be happy and come back every year.   I made this card for them, as a thank you note.  For the flower and for the Mother's day gifts.  The kiddos are such a blessing to me.    My daughter is a nail artist, that is not her profession, just her hobby.  She just painted the most darling tulips on her nails in such a lovely color, So I tried to make my card like her nails.   Here are a couple pictures of her beautiful nails 💗
I will submit this card to the challenge at:
I flipped the sketch upright, for the circle I used the tulip.   It was the perfect time for a thank you note.  So I'm happy to have come across this challenge to play along with.

Week 367: MAGICAL New Wonders Stampin Up. Book reading Fun

What a delightful challenge to play along with at:

To me books are magical.  They just transport you to a different place and time.  I've just recently discovered  I love historical fiction books.  Last summer it was all about Hamilton, and Jefferson.  This past month I just finished another grand book that was based on a book of the Bible.  The title is Redeeming Love.   Just wonderful.  I highly recommend it. 🕮

The stamp set featured in today's card is
Stampin Up:  New Wonders.

I love how the little fairy is turning the page to discover new and wonderful things in her book.

Sketch #367 Painted Poppies, Label Me Bold, Stampin Up Happy Birthday

I made this card for the challenge at:

I really wanted to play with my new stamp set.  Quite frankly I didn't really like this stamp set at first.  However poppies, once again made me think of the Wizard of Oz.   Yes I do love that old movie. My phone cover is actually Emerald city and the yellow brick road.   Well I love most old movies in the 30-40's

I used DSP for the outside panels, and then I embossed the white card stock and sponged over it to match the DSP and poppy.     The circle is die cut out of white which I sponged again, and then black card stock to give it some shadow.   I didn't think I was going to be able to make this challenge work.  It was a difficult one for me.  Usually the way my ole brain works is that when I see a sketch, it immediately gives me an idea or at least sets something into motion, this card I had to wing it as I went.  Hoping for the best.

The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up:  Painted Poppies
Stampin Up:  Label Me Bold

I sold two Graduation Cards in my shop this evening.  That makes me so happy.   Whoohoo❕❕
