The second card I made for today I will submit to the following challenges:
I used my stampin up set called Basket bunch and was surprised and sad to find out that my sentiment that I used on the inside of the card does not stamp "solid" seriously the "M" in May is missing the top part. Perhaps I will email them and see what they can do for me? I don't know if they will exchange it, but it's such a shame.. so I just used a marker to fill it in. I stuck with the colors spot on this time except for peekaboo peach, I didn't have that, so I used my orange and then pulled out my aqua painter to lighten the color up. It worked well for the basket and a few of the eggs as did the other colors too with the eggs. I used sweet sugarplum for Mr. Bunny's ears and the basket bow. The marina mist was used for Mr. "B's" bow tie.
I have added a picture of my little squirrel friend enjoying a chocolate wafer on the deck today. He's always a happy little fella even when HP has his nose right up to the patio door watching him. He knows the dog can't get out and so they just stare each other down.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit.
I'd love to have you sign up and follow my blog. Please check out my facebook page too. I'm taking a poll over there about becoming a stampin up gal. I would love your opinion. You can find it here.
Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping.
You are making Easter cards - you are so good!! I love all the bunies and chicks for Easter. I don't know if they would replace it if the stamp set is not new. You could call and see what they say - good luck! That is so fustrating when that happens! As I said in your facebook page - who gave cutie the wafer!!
ReplyDeleteLove the bun & basket images - great choices for the colors! Thanks for playing along with us at CC&S!
ReplyDeletePatty, your card is an Easter treat for the eyes! The basket of eggs and the darling bunny is just too cute! I love the sentiment, too - what a bummer that the stamp is messed up, but at least it's a fairly easy fix. Thanks so much for sharing your adorable card with us at CC&S! :)
