Today I was making boxes for Valentine's day. I Sure do the Love the framlit die with this set. These boxes are adorable and could be used for any occasion. I'm playing along with the challenge at: Use Your Stuff where the theme is about buttons. So as you can see on the 2 boxes that I created I layered 2 buttons on the top of my tie dye heart. (Love that techinque) That twine was a bit tricky to lace through the holes but I got it done. PHEW! I think the boxes turned out adorable. I plan on filling them with a few goodies for the kiddos. Now below I used the same framelit but made a much bigger box. This was my first attempt at doing this. SO it's not to fancy decorated. I had to actually add the polka dot washi tape on the bottom to help hold it together. Apparently the paper was not very strong. I came across the idea here at the The Cow Whisperer on Facebook. It's really great. I think I might use my box to put a small caramel apple in it for gift giving because the stick would be able to poke up through the center marvelously. I love it. what a great project.
Make sure to check out my other cards and projects while you're here.

ReplyDeleteWhat great boxes! Just in time for Valentine's Day! I didn't get the die cuts for this stamp set, so I missed out on the box. Now I wish I had ordered the bundle but one can't get everything!
