PP382~Watercolor Wings and Waterfall Card

Today I made a card to represent my SCS (Scripture Card Sunday) and  I also found a challenge to play along with.  So I'll submit this card to The Paper Players.  I love it.                                                                                                                                   I used my  Water color wings set from Stampin up to create the butterfly.  It took quite a few takes to get just the right colors to match the background paper .  And let me just say after I stamped the inside of the card, I thought I'm just going leave it so ya all see the struggle is real. 😉 I really like how the sparkle paper and embellishments help pull this card together.  I also glued down the center of the butterfly but pop dotted the wings.. so as to give it some movement.
I'm also including the card I made for our son-in-law.. my first attempt with a waterfall card.  Whoohoo.. it turned out and it was fun.  I used a few different stamp sets on this one.  Tags & Trimmings for the dots ( I like to think bubbles for champagne)  Amazing You for the sentiments on the outside and Sky is the Limit for the "Happy Birthday"   I really like how it turned out.  I can't wait to try again with another one.  I even included a short 26 second video for you to check out.   Someday I'll  learn to do better with videos, I imagine that needs equipment and such, but for now my little camera will have to do.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.   I invite you to check out my other cards, projects and pictures.  I'd love to have you follow my blog, and facebook page.                                                 Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping.

  2. Your butterfly is beautiful and your struggle was well worth it - it coordinates wonderfully with your DSP! I've never attempted a waterfall card but yours is inspiring. I'm sure your SIL loved it! Thanks for playing along over at The Paper Players this week ~ Hugs, Annie
