Tuesday Morning Sketches #439 & #298 - Weather RAIN

I want to extend a warm welcome to my newest blog follower.Image result for thank you minion

Now onto the card for today.  I used 3 different embossing folders to create the background.  I just used my ink pad  and pressed it on the folders to give it that two-tone look.  I then used my silver washi tape to divide  the different textures.  This cute little image just warms my heart as he shares his umbrella with the little red bird.  How sweet.    I added extra glitter to the umbrella and rain to give it a real authentic wet look.  haha.. I finished off the card with a few embellishments in the upper right hand corner and some silver twine tied in a bow on the side.
I will be submitting this card to the challenges at:

  1. What a clever use of your embossing folders to create the panels on your card! I thought you used patterned papers! Love that hedgie with the umbrella, so cute and so perfect for the rainy weekend that's about to come where I live! Thanks for playing along with the Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge!
