I was asked to make a few wedding cards for a lady on facebook. So I thought I'd also take the opportunity to look for a couple challenges to play along with.
I will submit this card to the challenge at:
I think this is a lovely sketch to work with. I wanted to have this wedding card look a bit classy. I stuck with grays and black and used only a hint of color for the flowers. The back white piece is embossed with dots and then I sponged gray around the edges. The next white piece is stamped with a lace image in gray. I really like how pretty that looks.
The stamp sets featured in this card are:
Stampin Up: What I Love
Stampin Up: Southern Serenade
The sentiment is from the dollar section at the local store.
I hope you will check out my other wedding cards. I'd love to read your comments on them.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit.
Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping.
PJ
What an elegant card. I love how you used the sketch.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, absolutely gorgeous!!! Such a beautiful creation! Thanks for joining us at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
ReplyDeleteThe gray and white is so pretty with the soft shade of coral. The extra matting added to the layers really makes them stand out

This is absolutely stunning, PJ! The white/gray/black combo with a soft accent color is so very classy, the subtle shading on the edge of the white panel is so professional looking, and the flower images and sentiment you chose are the perfect complements. I really love the lacy patterned paper panel, too. All in all, this is a very polished and pretty card. Thanks for sharing with us this week at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
