First up today is this little pillow box I made for the fun challenge at: Use Your Stuff where we are to take 5 things from our stash, that potentially has been lost among the collections and use them to create something.
So I chose these five: My pillow box die, the stampin up set called Merry Everything, the matching punch, soda pop tabs, and the metallic gold marker. I have a picture of all 5 below↓
I began my running the die through the big shot, and started creating from there. I found a fabulous little piece of DSP and I do mean little just enough to cover the front of the pillow box. I stamped the sentiment and punched it out. I punched out a spare green piece too, so I could put it underneath the sentiment. I used my metallic gold marker to color in the silver soda pop top to match the gold on the ribbon that I laced through it. I think it turned out cute. I'm happy I pulled a few things out that have not gotten very much use lately. I will be making a few more for Christmas now.
Thank you for visiting.
I hope you will take a moment to look around my blog.
What a great challenge! I'm sure I could find a few things. Your pillow box is just adorable. I love the soda pop! Great job!
