I will submit my card to the challenge at:

Sketch #301 Love Bug, Santa's Sleigh Stampin Up

It is absolutely freezing here.  I live in WI.  So ya all might have heard about this deep freeze we are under.  Well let's just say even the mailmen didn't have to work today.  In fact it is still 12 below zero.  Last night it dropped to 30 below with wind shields of up to 64 below zero.   I really dislike this weather.  I was so worried about our kiddos and their cars starting.   Thankfully the LORD provided and they were all able to stay home today.
That helps take the worry away.

I made this card for the challenge at.
I used my new retired stampin up set called.  Love Bug, it is an adorable little set.  I also used Stampin up's Santa's Sleigh for the little bow.  I then cut it apart to make the ribbon go to the side of the bow.  I added a bit of glossy accents to the cute little love bugs to give them some dimension.  I added the second card picture so you could see it a bit better.

PP426~Sugar Pea Designs Moose

Aww. Folks, It came today.  My new sugar pea moose stamp. Love this little fella.  I was beginning to lose hope.  In fact I had to call the USPS because this package was lost.  So I was on hold for 1 and 1/2 hours.  It stopped being tracked on the 23 of January.  The man in the office told me that they would do an investigation into the matter and just like that, today it showed up.  I love moose and this little guy is a sweetie.   I made this card for my dad.   I hope he likes it.
I will submit this card to the following challenge:

#GDP174~ Song in Your Heart Stampin Up

I  just recently purchased this retired stampin up set called Song in your Heart.  I fell in love with that cute lamp post.  Oh gosh it's darling.  However, it came with this little trio of ladies that I tried to spruce up with coloring in, and making their cheeks rosy.  I'm not one for the frumpy look of their winter coats.  But still for some reason I thought it was a must have.

I'm going to submit this card to the challenge at:

Sketch #300 Bloomin' Love, Sure Do Love You, Take Out Treats, Stampin Up

Oh boy it is cold here in Wisconsin.  I'm not one for cold weather.
When driving home from my son's house yesterday, I had the radio on and was listening to the weather report, because it was snow covered, freezing and quite slippery out.  The big signs on  the interstate were warning drivers of the dangers.  They said the whole state, every county is under  warnings for below zero temperatures.  Windshields of up to -30 & -40 below.  Thankful for our warm home, even though we still don't have the heat ducts fixed.  But nevertheless, it's a blessing to have shelter.    HP doesn't even want to go outside it's so cold.   My husband even recommended we get him boots.  haha.. that makes me smile a doggy with little boots.
The card I made today I will submit to the challenge at:
The stamp sets featured in today's card are:
Stampin Up: Bloomin' Love
Stampin Up: Sure Do Love you
Stampin Up: Take Out Treats

I'm also including a picture of the orchid my son gave me a couple years ago.  This is the first time I ever got it to bloom, and it has a total of 7 flowers.  It's so beautiful.

One more thing: I wanted to mention that today my Daughter and Son-in-law celebrate their first wedding anniversary.   We are so proud of them.  May they be blessed with many more years to come. You can see the card I made them Here.

PP425 Winter Woods, Snow is Glistening, Wonderland, Stampin Up

Oh gosh I really like how this card turned out.  I made it for the challenge at:
I hope it will still qualify in the running, because after reading the caption it says, "snowy day"  well Here I went and made a snowy moonlit night.. UGH.. Nevertheless, I shall submit it.  And if it has to be pulled from the line up, I completely understand.

The stamps featured in my card today are:
Stampin Up:  Winter Woods
Stamping Up: Snow is Glistening
Stampin Up: Wonderland

I'm also adding a picture of my backyard.  Truly it is snowy and blowing here.  Apparently the temps are to deep well below zero with windshield of 30-40 below.  I'm not a fan of this kind of weather.

RRCB102 Artistic Etchings, The open Sea, That's the ticket and pocket watch, Stampin Up

I was busy getting stamps and stamp sets ready to sell in my etsy shop, and when I came across a few I don't use anymore, I thought it's been quite some time since I played along with retro rubber.  So I stopped what I was doing to join the fun with a Black and white theme at:

RRCB 102
The stamp sets featured in today's card are:
Stampin Up: Artistic Etchings, I believe it's from 2012.   I just have 2 stamps from that set.

and the pocket watch is a single stamp from 2004 Delta Rubber Stamped.

CAS Game #132 & HSSCC306 Hello Cupcake, So Hoppy Together, Sure do Love you, Stamping Up

I will start off by saying that I made this card for the following two fabulous challenges.   That way you will be able to understand my  choices a bit better for this particular card.

Now doesn't that help put the card in perspective?   As far as the colors I chose, and keeping it clean and simple using only 1/3 of the card stock.  Well as close to 1/3 as I could get.

The stamp sets featured in today's card are:
Stampin Up: Hello Cupcake
Stampin Up: So Hoppy Together
Stampin Up:  Sure do Love you.

FUSION - 5th Anniversary Challenge Watercolor Wings Stampin Up

I made this card for the challenge at: Fusion
I opted to try for both.  The butterflies and the sketch.   I'm very pleased with how the front of my card turned out.   I stamped the butterfly in a few different colors and then die cut the top in brown.  I used the same brown  for the scalloped oval.  It helps to keep the colors toned down a bit.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Hope you are all staying warm.   We are dealing with below zero temps.

FMS371 ~Lawn Fawn Baby it's Cold Outside Llama, Buffalo Check, Stampin up

I finally got to use my buffalo check stamp. I have been rather patient,(haha) and that's not me.  I like to play with my stamp sets right away.  Like a child on Christmas morning playing with new toys.  However, circumstances didn't make this possible.  As I didn't have a big enough acrylic block to use, so I had to save my dollars and get a stamparatus.  OH boy is that tool fun and super handy.  I looked up how to use it, and I noticed people wrapping a piece of washi tape around the magnets for easier pickup.  So I did the same.  Well can you believe this?   I went to slide the magnet a bit on my white card stock and the ink from the washi tape actually transferred to my cardstock. *insert heavy SIGH here.  Thank goodness for two sides to every piece of paper.  😉

I'm going to submit this card to the challenge at:
Don't you think my little llama actually looks fluffy and soft? I just really was impressed on how he turned out.

*Just a Note ♪  ~  I have added a few new stamps and stamp sets to my etsy shop.   Tomorrow hopefully I will update my blog with the new items as well.  But for now my store has all the products I'm selling.

CTS #305 Happy Valentine's Day, Mouse, Hearts

I made this card today for the challenge at:

I flipped the sketch to go horizontal so I could use my heart punch.  I thought it would look "lovely" especially with that cute little mouse holding the giant heart.  The sentiment was actually on the same stamp as the mouse, but a bit of tape enabled me to stamp it and then cut the mouse/heart out and place it above.

TMS #486 Home to Roost Stampin Up

I want to give a big warm welcome to two new blog followers.  This is  exciting❕

Image result for minion thank you
I'm so happy you decided to sign up and follow my blog.  💛

I made this card today for my niece.  Her beloved rooster died this past weekend.  So I wanted to let her know we are thinking of her.

I'm going to submit this card to the challenge at:
I used my new stampin up set called Home to Roost.  What a great deal of fun playing with colors for the rooster.  I chose this one and then splashed on some clear wink of stella to make it sparkle like the ribbon underneath the oval layers.

I added a paper pumpkin kit to my etsy shop. I'm hoping to sell a few more stamps and stamp sets in the shop so I can clear out a bit of things I don't use anymore.  Please make sure to check it out.

Sketch #299~Stampendous Family Home, Designer Stamps Let Love Bloom

I made this card for the challenge at: Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge
Holy smokes, this was a difficult sketch for me.  Yet I think that is why it was fun to try and work with.  It really challenged this ole mind to think beyond the usual cards I make.   Of course this was not at all in the direction I had intended the card to go, but like usual, it takes on a life of it's own when I start crafting.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.  I look forward to reading your comments.
