We had a very busy weekend. Our son came home from Florida, so we were able to catch up with him and see some awesome bmx videos of swampfest. It looked like a crazy wild time. So proud of him for following his dream. However, he did sustain an injury to his arm that prevented him from riding hard. Nevertheless, he had a great time and he says that perhaps that kept him from injuring himself further. Wise young man. Some of those jumps looked a bit dangerous to me. (but I'm just mom) Then my husband went and helped our Daughter and Son-in-law haul away the tree they cut down. Today we and when I say we I mean He my sweetheart started raking our yard. We got about 1/4 of it done. Feels so good to see grass, although there is still snow by the fence line and apparently more snow is coming this week.. (Sigh) I will include a couple pictures of the yard. You can see the line where we had to stop raking for the day because of the rain.
